Forging Ahead

OHA has been busy working through our land survey and completing funding applications. In partnership with the Town of Port Rexton, we have submitted an application for CMHC’s Housing Accelerator Fund. This fund encourages systematic and policy change within local governments to increase affordable housing. This incentive funding can also be used for investments in the creation of affordable housing, housing-related infrastructure, and community-related infrastructure that supports housing. Further to this application, OHA is pursuing provincial funding for housing low-income families and newcomers. We are eager to move forward in community design and engagement!
