Project 2050

Posted on 25 November 202516 January 2026

In October 2025, OHA connected with local schools to introduce Project 2050 as part of our climate action initiative funded by CMHC’s Housing Accelerator Fund.

Project 2050: Climate-Friendly Habits to Change the World is a national movement led by Earth Rangers, in partnership with EcoSchools Canada. The program focuses on empowering youth with the knowledge and skills they need to take action on climate change.

Both Bishop White and St. Mark’s School are registered for Project 2050 and have begun developing their own climate action plans with support from OHA.

The program offers a fun and accessible way for youth—and their families—to make a difference by adopting small, meaningful, climate-friendly habits that add up to real impact.
