CArrie Hookey
Secretary
Carrie is a long-time resident of the Port Rexton area and currently lives in Trinity East. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Geography, along with a Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Secondary) from Memorial University. After completing her studies, Carrie began a full-time teaching position on the Bonavista Peninsula. Having returned to her hometown at the start of the pandemic, Carrie has faced the challenges of affordable housing firsthand. This personal experience, coupled with her desire to help other young families avoid similar struggles, has inspired her to invest in the Otter Housing Association.
